Yikes, are we happy to have Yikes for this year's celebrations. A first time caller for IV, Yikes is currently making a splash from east coast to west coast of this broad country.

With a handful of serious day jobs, Boorloo based Wongi man Yikes will be taking time from his busy life as a producer, (former graffiti) artist and creative director to give us a lesson in his special brand of deep, broken, percussive selections.

Sharpening his tastes and talents during regular spots for Naarm's Skylab and Boorloo's RTRFM, Yikes also shares his deep musical knowings with others through his First Nations DJ course for young musicians. Extending this ethos is his co-founding of Nani Creative: a Boorloo based Aboriginal led creative studio that aims to encourage authentic design that creates connection and enables storytelling.
